EnBW has hired German outfit EMS Maritime Offshore to support construction of the 112MW Albatros and 497MW Hohe See offshore wind farms in the German North Sea.
EMS Maritime Offshore’s nautical engineers will provide marine coordination for the projects.
The work will include ensuring safe and smooth maritime travel, coordinating radio communication and providing emergency support.
Albatros and Hohe See combined will comprise a total of 87 Siemens SWT-7.0-154 turbines and will be fully commissioned in 2019.
