Jan De Nul jack-up Vole au Vent has installed the first of 10 turbines at Suomen Hyötytuuli’s 42MW Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm off the coast of Finland.
The Finnish developer said installation of the second machine will take place tonight.
The wind farm features Siemens 4.2MW hardware.
The project is expected to be complete in autumn 2017.
