Dutch offshore specialist IHC IQIP assisted Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering in the installation of two monopiles for the 8MW Formosa 1 offshore wind farm in Taiwan
IHC IQIP provided its hydrohammer S-2000 with a 5.5-metre pile sleeve for the project.
It also analysed the soil conditions and pile dimensions, before recommending the S-2000.
The Formosa 1 project consists of two 4MW Siemens turbines.
