German transmission system operator 50Hertz is seeking a helicopter emergency rescue service to cover offshore platforms, wind turbines and vessels located in the Baltic Sea.
The tender calls for a rescue helicopter including aeronautical and medical crew during the construction and operational phases at the Baltic 1 platform and platforms and wind turbines at the 288MW Baltic 2, 350MW Wikinger and 385MW Arkona projects
The rescue helicopter has to be ready for use 24/7, 365 days a year, 50Hertz said.
The contract will start on 1 July next year and run until 1 July 2023. It could be renewed for two one-year periods, according to the tender call document.
50Hertz is the principal contractor with the other possible contract partners EnBW, Iberdrola and AWE-Arkona Windpark Entwicklungs.
Interested parties have until midday local time on 17 October to submit an application.
