The last of 60 EEW-fabricated monopile foundations has been lifted on to the water ahead of transport to the site of Eon and Statoil’s 385MW Arkona offshore wind farm.
The project site is located 35km north-east of Rügen island in the German Baltic Sea.
Van Oord vessel Svanen is installing the foundations in water depths ranging from 23 to 37 metres.
Arkona will consist of 60 Siemens Gamesa 6.4MW turbines.
