Blue Water Shipping has provided onshore logistics for Suomen Hyötytuuli’s 42MW Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm in Finland.
Blue Water’s role included transferring turbine components to storage, upending and transferring parts to load out position in the Finish port of Pori.
“Close cooperation between Suomen Hyötytuuli and the different contractors was perfect and everybody worked towards the common goal of completing the project according to schedule and with safety as first priority,” said Blue Water’s project manager Rasmus Svane Nielsen.
Jan De Nul finished installing 10 Siemens 4.2MW turbines at the project last month
The wind farm is expected to be operational later this year.
