China Huaneng Group has brought online the 300MW Huaneng Jiangsu Rudong offshore wind farm in the East China Sea off the coast of Jiangsu province.
The company said the wind farm entered full commercial operations on 30 September following a 240-hour trial.
The project consists of 70 turbines with capacities of 4MW, 4.2MW and 5MW, it added.
The wind farm will generate about 820 million kilowatt-hours of electricity a year, China Huaneng Group said.
