Danish outfit KEM Offshore has signed a framework agreement with Energinet.dk to provide a crew transfer vessel during the installation and commissioning of two offshore substations at the 600MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm off the coast of Denmark.
The one-and-a-half year agreement covers dredging, foundation setting and commissioning of the two topsides, KEM said.
KEM Offshore commercial manager Brian Schlosser said: “It is a large and complex project and we are very proud to have won this contract which demonstrates our ability and will to offer flexible and cost efficient solutions.”
Kriegers Flak is planned to be commissioned in 2022 and will be Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm, the company added.
