Delaware Governor John Carney is to establish a working group to study the potential for developing offshore wind projects off the coast of the US state.
Local media reports that Carney will sign an executive order today to set up the group.
The group will study the prospects for offshore wind in Delaware and make recommendations, the reports said.
They added that the governor currently does not have a specific offshore project in mind.
