Fichtner Consulting Engineers advised Danish pension funds PKA and PFA on the acquisition from Orsted of 25% each stakes in the under-construction 659MW Walney 3 offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea.
The consultancy said it acted at technical advisor to PKA and PFA on the deal.
The wind farm will feature a split of MHI Vestas and Siemens Gamesa turbines.
It is expected to reached commercial operation in the first quarter of 2018.
