The first GE 150 6MW offshore wind turbine has been installed at Deepwater Wind’s 30MW Block Island project in the US.
Fred Olsen Windcarrier jack-up Brave Tern is carrying out the installation work on the five-turbine project.
The jack-up is being assisted Montco Offshore heavy lift vessels Paul and Caitlyn.
Turbine installation is expected to be complete by the end of August.
