Michael Hannibal is joining Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as a partner to take a lead role in offshore wind investment activities.
The former head of offshore wind at Siemens Gamesa will join CIP on 21 December.
CIP managing partner Jakob Baruel Poulsen said: “I am very pleased to welcome Michael Hannibal to the CIP partnership.
“He brings deep market knowledge, a large industrial network, and proven global leadership skills and track record to CIP.
“In this capacity, Michael will take a lead role on the investments in CIPs offshore wind farms in operations, construction and development across three continents.”
Hannibal said: “I am excited about the opportunity to be part of this journey together with the CIP team.
“I bring my hands-on offshore wind experience, gained by positioning Siemens Gamesa as the global leader in offshore wind.”
