Innogy has completed a maintenance campaign at its 295MW Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The wind farm consists of 48 Senvion 6.2M126 turbines and has been operational since 2015.
Innogy said some 50 service technicians, engineers and nautical staff were involved in the campaign, which took place during the summer.
The company said that rope-supported blade inspections took place on 12 of the 48 turbines.
Drones were also employed for the first time during the maintenance inspections.
The the wind farm’s foundations were also inspected using special dive robots, Innogy said.
Environmental monitoring was also carried out to check fish, marine mammals and birds.
