Subsea specialist Fugro is laying the final array cable at the 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm off the Sussex coast in the UK.
However, burial of the cables will continue for some time, an Eon spokeswoman said.
Eon, the UK Green Investment Bank and Canadian energy company Enbridge are investors in the wind farm.
Rampion will consist of 116 MHI Vestas 3.45MW turbines and will deliver first power later in the summer.
