SeaRoc Group and Natural Power have produced a report for the port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire identifying the requirements for the latter to support offshore wind farm developments.
The report included a strategy for future development of the port to guide local authorities and help mitigate risks.
It also included a construction timeline and the main requirements for each development phase at the port.
SeaRoc Group’s David Wotherspoon said: “We delivered an assessment of what the port would have to include in terms of facilities and land provision for the developer’s requirements to run project management and construction personnel from the port.
“We looked at how the delivery of these port facility developments may be staged to tie in with the wind farm development stages.”
