German companies SeaRenergy and Fichtner have won a two-year contract to provide risk assessments for offshore and onshore converter stations operated by TenneT.
The purpose of the contract is to identify potential hazards for people, installations or the environment and the prevention of damages, they said.
SeaRenergy has been working on the completion of Tennet´s grid connections in the North Sea for several years, including the transport and installation of offshore platforms as well as operational support.
Fichtner has been providing project management and engineering solutions for the entire grid connections since 2010.
