VBMS cable lay vessel Ndurance has completed pull-in of the final JDR-made array cable at Innogy’s 336MW Galloper wind farm off Suffolk.
Cable testing at the project is ongoing and multi-purpose vessel Grand Canyon remains on site performing burial work.
Ndurance was released from the project on Tuesday evening and sailed for Rotterdam, where it will soon begin loading 14km of Nexans cable for EDF Energy Renewables’ 40.5MW Blyth demo off northeast England.
Swire Blue Ocean jack-up Pacific Orca has installed 16 of 56 Galloper’s Siemens Gamesa 6MW machines at the wind farm.
