Vattenfall has started the selection process for the supply and installation of the onshore grid for the 350MW Vesterhav North and South offshore wind farms off the coast of Denmark.
The tender will be divided into two lots covering each each wind farm with bids expected for both.
The scope of the work includes the supply of 66kV cable and fibre optics, installation, burial, termination and testing.
It also covers design and engineering of all onshore civil, structural and landscaping works, as well as design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning and testing of the substation’s 66kV equipment.
The expected installation period is 2019.
Companies interested in applying for the work have until 8pm CET on 15 October to register.
The final decision on pre-qualification will be made on 8 November, with invitation to tender expected to start in December.
