Turbine installation has commenced at Blue Circle’s 40MW Dam Nai wind farm in southern Vietnam.
The $58m development (pictured), located in Ninh Thuan province, features Siemens Gamesa G114-2.6MW turbines.
The first of its two phases is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter, ahead of the second phase’s completion next year.
Blue Circle has said the construction site on Vietnam’s Highway One has the potential for a total installed capacity of 70MW to 100MW.
