A subsidiary of Chinese energy company Shenhua has acquired 75% of the shares in four wind farms developed by Copelouzos Group in Greece.
The companies said that they also intend to collaborate on other wind farms in the future.
The deal, which is the Chinese outfit’s first investment in wind farms in Greece, is part of a wider agreement between the two companies worth €3bn.
Shenhua and Copelouzos are cooperating on green energy and environmental upgrades to power plants.
