US drone provider Measure is expanding its inspection services to the wind power sector.
The company said wind farm operators are now able to outsource preventive maintenance inspections to its drone pilots and data analysts.
It added that the unmanned aerial vehicle service has already been utilised at projects totalling 400MW.
Measure vice president of energy infrastructure Harjeet Johal said: “Our drone-based inspections provide multiple advantages that can help wind farm operators operate at peak capacity.”
