Eon is to provide operations and maintenance for the 28.6MW Drone Hill wind farm in Scotland for owners Greencoat and Swiss LIfe Asset Management.
The company’s Wind Service business signed a contract for five to 10 years at the five-year-old wind farm in the Scottish Borders, which features 22 Nordex 1.3MW turbines.
The business started targetting third-party contracts in June 2017. It operates 16 onshore wind farms in the UK.
Eon onshore wind Europe director Katja Bartsch-Wunschel said: “We look forward to building this relationship and working in cooperation with Drone Hill over the coming years.”
