Renewables consultancy Natural Power completed due diligence for GE Energy Financial Services and the Green Investment Group on the acquisition of the 650MW Markbygden ETT wind farm in Sweden.
The project, which reached financial close earlier this week, will feature 179 GE 3.6MW turbines that will be operational by end-2019. Construction has started.
Natural Power diligence project manager Neil Marshall said the scale of the project meant a large team from the company was required.
It brings due diligence work covered by the company to over 91GW, added director of global due diligence Giles Dearden.
