RES subsidiary Windkraft Schonach has acquired the rights to develop an up to seven-turbine wind farm in Germany from WPD.
The Wasen/Hohe Stückbäume project will be located in the southern Black Forest in the Baden-Württemberg region of the country, RES said.
Windkraft Schonach is talking to local energy cooperatives interested in operating the wind farm once it is operational, which is expected to be in 2020.
The company added that it has carried out wind measurement studies of the site and is currently conducting environmental assessments to conserve species.
