Blade manufacturer TPI Composites is establishing a technology centre in Kolding, Denmark, to enhance its technical capabilities and serve the US company’s European customer base.
The centre is expected to be open in the first quarter of 2018, the company said.
TPI president and chief executive Steve Lockard said: “Establishing this centre will strengthen our engineering and technical resources to support our long-term growth.”
TPI senior vice president – technology and industrialisation said: “We look forward to building our engineering and technical capabilities in Europe which will enable us to collaborate more effectively on technology initiatives with our customers.”
