The EU-backed Foresea programme has launched a consultation to find out industry views on the future requirements for marine energy test sites.
The findings will feed into investment plans for open ocean test sites for the wave and tidal energy sector, Foresea said.
The €11m Foresea (Funding Ocean Renewable Energy through Strategic European Action) project was set up to help commercialise offshore renewable energy technologies by giving free access to a network of test sites.
The results of the survey will be made available through a public domain report, Foresea said.
The questionnaire is available here.
