Siemens Gamesa is to supply, install and commission up to 30 turbines to VenSol Neue Energien for several wind farms in Germany.
The deal involves SWT-DD-142 machines with 129-metre and 165-metre hub heights.
VenSol said the turbines will be used for its own projects, as well as for smaller developers.
The projects will be located in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Thuringia.
VenSol said the turbines can be operated with output of 3.5MW and 3.9MW.
VenSol director Christian Böhm said: “With this framework agreement we ensure our access to one of the most efficient onshore wind turbines in the market.”
