Germany-based investment manager MPC Capital has launched MPC Renewables Panama to support the development of the company’s clean energy projects in Central America and the Caribbean.
Fernando Zuniga has been appointed as MPC Renewables Panama’s Regional Director for Central America and the Caribbean based in Panama City.
Zuniga has over nine years of experience in the renewable energies sector having most recently been development manager Latam at Solarcentury in Panama.
MPC Capital management board member Roman Rocke said: “Central America and the Caribbean is a key region for the growth of our renewable energy business.
“Having an office in Panama City, under the leadership of Fernando Zuniga, who has extensive experience in the sector, is a strategically important step in serving our investors and business partners and in our global growth.”
