Siemens Gamesa is touting a product portfolio and service package designed to squeeze the most out of German onshore wind sites.
The company will make its “first German appearance” following the merger earlier this year at the Husum Wind show in the north of the country.
“Siemens Gamesa focuses on solutions that enable wind farm operators to meet the requirements and challenges of the auction model in Germany,” said the company.
It said its turbine portfolio covers a range of different site conditions across its direct drive and geared product line.
“Through equipment variants and scalable rotor-generator combinations, the highest possible energy yield is achieved. Highlights are rotor diameters of 142 metres and a selection of towers with hub heights of up to 165 metres,” it added.
It added that “digital remote diagnostics services and a modular service portfolio” enhanced the post-installation offering.
