Wave Energy Scotland has today launched an online knowledge library providing free access to more than 100 documents gathered from its R&D programmes.
The library will be updated with additional reports and details of the projects coming under the WES umbrella including international collaborations and early research on wave energy undertaken in Scotland.
It is the first time that outputs generated through the WES programme have been made available from a single source.
Senior research engineer Elva Bannon said: “In sharing this information, we are ensuring that the lessons learned from the technology development projects is used for the benefit of the wider wave energy sector.”
“We will be asking our contractors to provide more information on their projects so there is more than just the final public report from their project available.”
The library can be found at https://library.waveenergyscotland.co.uk/
