Hive Energy and Wirsol have proposed building a mega-solar project in Kent in the southeast of England.
The partners have confirmed plans for the up to 350MW Cleve Hill array near Graveney ahead of a submission to the Planning Inspectorate.
Consultancy company Arcus is leading the planning charge and environmental assessment for the project.
UK ministers will make the final decision on the project.
