RAI Energy International has taken an ownership interest in a 70MW solar farm in Florida from Hamilton Energy Resource Opportunities.
The project is at an “advanced development” stage in Hamilton County and is expected to come online in 2019, RAI said.
RAI now serves as co-developer of the solar plant, together with Hamilton Energy Resource Opportunities.
Duke Energy Florida is undertaking a restudy of the project to ensure it can tap the “maximum technological efficiencies currently available”, the developers said.
