Greencoat has snapped up a pair of UK ground-mounted solar projects from development company ReneSola.
The investment outfit will take control of arrays in North Yorkshire and Shropshire, both of which qualify for 1.2 Renewable Obligation Certificates.
ReneSola chairman and chief executive officer Xianshou Li said the agreement demonstrated the ability of the company to develop and monetise projects in the downstream segment of the industry.
“We are proud of our continued execution in the region and look forward to driving incremental project development globally,” he added.
