Senvion has added its 3.7M144 turbine model into its North American product portfolio.
The 3.7M144 extends the modularity of its 3MW platform in North America to four different nominal capacities with three different rotor diameters and is suitable for low to medium wind speeds.
It is available at hub heights of 108 metres or tailored to a project’s specific needs. The turbine is also available with a de-icing system and has serrations at the blade edges to reduce noise.
Senvion said the model has about 6.7% higher annual energy production compared with the 3.4M140, which was launched last year.
