Jack-up vessel MPI Adventure has set sail from the Port of Esbjerg with the last load of turbine components for Eon’s 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm off the coast of Sussex in the UK.
The vessel has conducted a total of 15 load outs for the project from Esbjerg, which has been the installation port throughout construction of the wind farm.
The project will consist of 116 MHI Vestas V112 3.45MW turbines when complete.
Eon, the Green Investment Group (formerly Green Investment Bank) and Canadian energy company Enbridge are investors in the wind farm.
