Canadian Solar subsidiary Recurrent Energy has signed a 100MW power purchase agreement with Peninsula Clean Energy to deliver electricity from the Mustang 2 photovoltaic plant in California.
Mustang 2 is located in King County and is expected to come online in 2019.
The project will create about 400 jobs during peak construction, Canadian Solar said.
Canadian Solar chairman and chief executive Shawn Qu said: “This contract is an important part of growing our future US project development pipeline.”
