US-based TPI Composites has forged a deal to supply wind turbine blades to Senvion for the Asian, Australian and South American markets.
The blades will be manufactured at a TPI facility in Taicang Port, in China’s Jiangsu province.
Production is planned to commence in the first quarter 2018.
“We have chosen TPI due to its strong quality track-record, cost competitiveness, global footprint and ability to support Senvion’s drive for technology leadership,” Senvion chief operating officer Christian Roth said.
