Boralex has started commercial operations at the 10MW Voie des Monts and 24MW Mont de Bagny wind farms in France.
Voie des Monts, which is located in the Aisne region, comprises five Vestas V100 turbines.
Mont de Bagny is in the Nord area of the country and features eight Siemens SWT-113 3MW machines.
Both wind farms will supply electricity to EDF under 15-year agreements.
Boralex Europe vice president and general manager Patrick Decostre said: “The Voie des Monts and the Mont de Bagny wind farms are the two first great achievements of the Ecotera Développement portfolio acquired by Boralex in December 2015.”
