DEME Group jack-up Innovation has installed the first XL monopile foundations at the 309MW Rentel offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
The project will consist of 42 Siemens Gamesa D7 turbines, scheduled for installation next year.
The wind farm is expected to start generating electricity from mid-2018.
It is being developed by the Otary Group.
