Japan’s Crown Prince has visited MHI Vestas’ nacelle factory in Lindø, as part of celebrations to commemorate 150 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and the Asian country.
The Crown Prince toured the manufacturing area and also climbed inside a nacelle for an up-close look at the turbine’s technological components, MHI Vestas said.
MHI Vestas chief executive Jens Tommerup said, “We are very honoured to host the Crown Prince of Japan at our factory in Lindø.
“Being a Japanese and Danish joint venture, MHI Vestas is the embodiment of the strong ties between Denmark and Japan.”
