Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service is now offering upgrades with CSC4 control units for all Senvion MM series wind turbines manufactured since 2007.
The service provider said it is also looking to expand its range of services to include the complete MD series in the medium term.
It added that converter manufacturer Woodward has developed the controller upgrade CSC4 for turbines to “meet current demands of grid operators”.
Compared to the predecessor model CSC3, functionality has been “significantly improved”, including improved data analysis and use interface, Windtechnik said.
