Bibby Marine Services vessel WaveMaster 1 is to set sail next year on an oil and gas job for Total E&P Nederland.
The service operation vessel, which is undergoing final fit out in Romania, will work on Total E&P Netherlands projects in the North sea from April 2018.
Total will use the vessel to provide walk to work access to gas its platforms in the southern North Sea.
The oil and gas outfit will deploy WaveMaster 1 until October 2018 and have the option to extend their contract on the vessel by three years.
The vessel can accommodate up to 90 people will replace jack-ups and helicopters currently used to provide crew transfer services, Bibby Marine said.
