China is planning to work with Danish companies to develop its offshore wind resource, according to Denmark’s energy minister.
The head of China’s National Energy Administration visited Denmark and met with energy minister Lars Christian Lilleholt, Reuters reported.
Both countries have also agreed to co-build a test and demonstration centre for offshore wind in China, it is understood.
A delegation of Danish companies is to visit China next year to examine export opportunities in areas including offshore wind, Reuters added.
