Swire Blue Ocean jack-up Pacific Orca has installed 24 of the 56 Siemens Gamesa 6MW turbines at Innogy’s 336MW Galloper offshore wind farm off the Suffolk coast in the UK.
The vessel is being assisted by Fred Olsen Windcarrier jack-up Bold Tern, which deployed to the site earlier this month.
Bibby Marine Services vessel Wavemaster 1 is also supporting construction of the wind farm, housing some 40 technicians for four-week stints.
The wind farm is scheduled to be fully commissioned in March next year.
