DEME Group has announced it has successfully installed the 31st foundation at Ocean Wind’s 496MW Îles d’Yeu et Noirmoutier wind farm.
Deploying the jack-up vessel ‘Innovation’, the installation marks the halfway point of the drilled XL-monopiles campaign.

Facing a rocky seabed and challenging ocean conditions, it is deploying a 350-tonne offshore foundation drill, co-developed with Herrenknecht.
DEME also deployed the 60-metre-tall drilling system MODIGA.
