Doris Group company ODE has been selected as owner’s engineer for LEM’s 500MW Tréport and 500MW Noirmoutier wind farms off the coast of France.
The contract covers the installation of Adwen turbines and and marine construction management at both projects, which are due to come on line in 2021.
Doris subsidiaries ODE will provide project support from London.
ODE Regional Director Jeff Barnes said: “This award will strengthen ODE’s continued involvement in the marine renewables sector internationally, and in coordination with our parent company, Doris Engineering, in Paris.”
Noirmoutier is located about 16km off the Atlantic Coast, where waters are up to 35m deep. Le Treport is about 16km off the coast in the English Channel, with water depths up to 25m deep.
Engie-led LEM also includes EDPR and Caisse des Dépôts.
