Chantiers de l’Atlantique will carry out preventive maintenance of the two electrical substations for future French offshore wind farms Yeu-Noirmoutier and Dieppe Le Treport.
Atlantique Offshore Energy, a subsidiary Chantiers de l’Atlantique, has been chosen by Eoliennes en Mer Iles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier (EMYN) and Eoliennes en Mer Dieppe Le Treport (EMDT).
EMYN’s and EMDT’s shareholders are Ocean Winds, Sumitomo Corporation and Banque des Territoires (as well as Vendee Energie for EMYN).
Through these multi-year maintenance contracts, Atlantique Offshore Energy will be in charge of carrying out the associated services using its own teams and the expertise of its partners.
“These contracts are excellent news for our teams, and we are proud to achieve them with a new leading client in our industry.” says Frederic Grizaud, Director of Atlantique Offshore Energy.
“These successes strengthen our already solid position in this market, for which we now maintain 5 platforms.
This expertise develops our know-how and strengthens our competitiveness, while we have strong ambitions for future projects in France and Europe.”
