Nordex Group is to supply turbines totalling 25MW to NTR’s Castlecraig wind farm in Northern Ireland.
The German manufacturer will supply 10 N100 turbines – six from its Gamma series and four from the Delta model – with tip heights of 125 metres.
The machines, which are specially designed for strong wind conditions, are scheduled to be commissioned at the site in Tyrone in the summer of 2018.
The deal, which was first revealed in the subscriber-only newsletter reNEWS, also includes a 20-year premium service contract.
