US outfit Dominion Energy has launched a request for information to help find parties willing to offer the company renewable generation purchase options.
Dominion said it was targeting renewable energy projects within the state of Virginia, but that it would not rule out projects in other states within the PJM regional transmission organization.
The company is seeking to bolster its renewable offering in line with proposed CRG Rate Schedules recently filed with the State Corporation Commission.
“In recent years, large energy users have become increasingly interested in renewable energy,” said Dominion Energy senior vice president of generation Katheryn Curtis.
The company currently holds 26.2GW of assets across the US.
