GreenGo has obtained Single Regional Authorisation for the Canalicchi agrivoltaic project in the province of Crotone, Italy.
The 19.5MW project will be developed by SPV Solux S.r.l. in the areas of Crotone and Scandale.
The company said construction and commissioning are scheduled for the first half of 2028.
It added that the authorisation strengthens its industrial presence in Calabria, where it has a renewable energy pipeline of about 360MW across 14 wind and solar projects.
GreenGo has three solar plants under construction in the province of Crotone with a combined capacity of 20MW.
Two plants totalling over 10MW are due to be connected by August, while a third 10MW project is in pre-construction and scheduled to come online by mid-2027.
The Canalicchi project will use single-axis trackers and is expected to generate about 36GWh annually, equivalent to the consumption of around 13,300 households.
The project is estimated to avoid 17,388 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
